As if I didn't love him enough already.....this is what I went downstairs tonight to find. Seeing him with her makes my heart so full. I'm one lucky girl!

About Me
- ellaandmommy
- The two most important things about me are that I am a wife to Bryan and mother to Ella Claire. I have been married to my best friend for 3 1/2 years. Bryan teaches at the alternative school in our hometown and coaches high school wrestling. I enjoy my job, which allows me to remain home with Ella Claire alot, but also help other children as well. I love spending time with my family, cooking, traveling, reading, watching movies, UT football, gardening and stamping. I love my life!

Hey! Sorry I have been out of the loop. School has been a nightmare. One more week! We're not even really having Mother's Day this weekend. We have a huge exam on Monday, so we're going to spend Sunday studying. Same as last year. Yeah, no fun.
I'm really happy to hear that Ella is sleeping in her bed for you guys now! That's awesome! I remember what a relief it was to get Adie to start sleeping in her bed (and that meant I actually got to lay down for the first time in months)! About the schedule: I think you have to go with her natural rythms. Adie has always been an early riser, so when she was taking two naps a day, she would wake up for the day at 6am, and would be ready for a nap by 8:30 or so. Then she'd wake up at about 10:30 and go back down for another nap at about 2:30. Now she just takes one nap at noon (but I think that is going to change soon because it has been getting progressively shorter). Just try to notice when she is generally waking and getting sleepy. Unfortunately, Adie will not sleep anywhere but her bed or her carseat, so I have had to be either at home or on a looooong drive when it's time for her nap. The most important thing is to be consistent at bedtime. If you give her a bath at night, do it at the same time every night. If you read her a story, do it at the same time. If there is consistency at bedtime, she'll settle down more quickly and be calm and ready to sleep.
E-mail me sometime and we'll talk about it more. I'm happy that you're getting some sleep. I remember that I didn't really even feel like a human being until Adie was about 6 months old. The lack of sleep and constant stress had me in robot mode. It's getting better! I told you!
p.s. I love your new pictures. Take as many as you can. You'll never feel like you have enough.
